What didn't we do today. Our favourite place so far, incredibly beautiful village of Silves where we shared birthday cake and great Portuegese coffee called 'bika'(?).
Then went to Maria' favorite place called Salema (close 2nd for Sandy). Georgeous, natural fishing village.
Lagos - most spectacular views yet, epitomizes what one thinks of Portugal.

I loved Silves as well, but my little heaven in the world is still Salema.
I am so happy to know you are in my home country and enjoying it too ... we were just there in August but are ready to go back!

hey, maria yes i can feel why you would cry its so beautiful. although we are now in a 300 year old house just outside of ronda spain and it is so gorgeous as well, in this remote nature wonderland.
we were in seville today and i cried in catherdral today which we wil add tomorrow to our blog.
